These two spatial sound compositions resulted from an iterative process of composition, listening experiments, psychoacoustical modeling, concert practice and the implementation of theses experiences in new compositional strategies for spatialization.

The overall idea of this artistic research project is not to chart a collection of experimental practices. The investigations shall result in an aesthetic practice that composes space, using space as a plastic sonic material, aiming to find a poetic approach in contemporary sound art to use complex environments for creating self evident and unique experiences.

I also reveal the process of capturing the god Proteus and manifest his inner world through the sounding voices of his subpersonalities. Proteus could transform into a seal, lion, dragon, panther, boar, wind, even into water or fire.

In his life's wanderings, the mythical hero, wanting to find out something from Proteus, had to grab him in one of the manifestations and hold him tenaciously, not letting go until he revealed himself in his true form. But even then, this most cunning of the gods never revealed the full depth of his wisdom, even to the most skilled of questioners. He answered only directly to the question put to him, and what he revealed could equally be meaningful and trivial, depending on the question asked.

Proteus's versatility is a trait inherent in our time, I argue that any personality is always a collection of images.
